How to Make Your Own Treasure Map! 

No pirate adventure is complete without a treasure map! Pirates used maps to find hidden gold, and you can make one too! Here’s how:

You’ll need:
✅ A piece of paper (brown paper looks extra pirate-y!)
✅ A pencil or marker
✅ Tea bags or a crayon (to make the paper look old)
✅ Scissors (ask an adult for help!)

Steps:
1️⃣ Draw your map! Add an island, palm trees, and paths leading to the treasure.
2️⃣ Mark important spots! Put an X where the treasure is hidden! Add caves, mountains, and secret traps.
3️⃣ Make it look old! Crumple the paper and rub it with a wet tea bag or color the edges with a brown crayon.
4️⃣ Cut the edges to look tattered! Pirates' maps were often worn out from all their adventures!

Now, hide “treasure” (toys, candy, or gold coins) and let a friend or family member follow your map to find it!
